Memorial Day

This day we are reminded of the sacrifice that so many gave to defend their home so their families and the rest of the country could retain the way of life, avoiding the tyranny that other countries would have caused.  In this way, we as Christians, are reminded that those who go before us are preparing for that final battle that will happen when Jesus Returns.

Yes we should mourn the loss every time we lose a Soldier/Defender of our nation, but we should also celebrate their selfless act of giving up every freedom they had to include their very lives. We need to remember the fallen not those who still fight the fight. Martin Luther had said that Soldiers make the best Christians because they understand what sacrifice is. I wholeheartedly agree. Those in previous authority decided to stop Christians from sharing their faith and have derided Chaplains for preaching the truth in the Word. The devil is in the mix as we still fight to share the Word.

Today do not thank a Soldier for their service but if you must, thank a Soldier for their sacrifice. Thank those who are left behind for their sacrifice especially those whose son or daughter went home.

Have a Blessed Day

Surrender

It is better to be humble than to seek out acceptance and gratitude. God does not need someone who is famous or boastful in their deeds. When we are well known for what we do for Him, we run the risk of seeking attention through works. Why seek attention for the task that we are given by God since He designed us to be caretakers. When we do works because of our faith we are putting our faith into action without the need for gratitude. If we try to gain popularity because of our works, those works are not due to faith but our own desire to be loved. James said that faith without works is dead but he did not say that we should accept mementoes or payments of gratitude for the works because our payment will be delivered when we meet our Lord and Savior at the gate.

O the blessedness of the meek for they shall inherit the earth Matthew 5:5

Being Meek

The word meek is best translated as humble or lowly. Jesus is quoting Psalm 37:11, But the meek will inherit the land and delight themselves in abundant peace. He is telling us that it is better to lower ourselves in humility than to raise ourselves up. The reality is, no one is more important than another and we should be doing God’s Will in our lives on a daily basis without seeking accolades or fame.

This weekend the family volunteered at the KLOVE Fan Awards and the night before the awards we sat in on a songwriter session where we listened to popular Christian artists truly humble themselves in the sharing of their lives and how their lives turned into song through the Word. They did not ask for gratitude nor standing ovations, they did not desire to be raised up but kept it humble. Though many see them as famous they do not seek the accolades. They are sinners, people just like us but these were given the gift of song to spread the Word to the world.

Willful Surrender

The avoidance of seeking validation and managing ones appearance means that a person is aware of their inner poverty, or sinful condition, and are free to surrender themselves. This is a willing trust in God to take care of oneself. The person who willfully surrenders to God does not self- seek vengeance or vindication but restoration, their strength comes from the Lord as it says in Zechariah 4:6, Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.

So Be Humble

When we have an active faith we are not in it for ourselves but in it to win others for God in the great battle for the souls of mankind against our Adversary. We accept the kindness but ask to keep it on the down low instead of announcing our faithful works to the world. We gain helpers through the telling of our works because of our faith but not by our own mouths. Do not try to be in control of others because the only actions and situations we can truly control are what God gives us to control which is ourselves. So do not be found to have self-assertiveness, or manipulative, deceptive, or violent aggressive behaviors for those are the opposite of meekness. Those that do are demanding acceptance and their own rights in this world and will not receive the blessed inheritance in the next world.

Be of good heart and pray daily placing your life in God’s hands where it belongs. Seek no accolades or payment for your works but humble thyself and God will provide. Share in your iniquity and the saving Grace and Mercy that comes only through faith, belief, and trust in Jesus which is granted freely by God for those who are in Christ. His is the power, and glory forever, AMEN

Stop The Corruption

Stop the CorruptionBrothers and Sisters, Rob here and I have to tell you I am getting sick and tired of hearing about churches embracing sinfulness. The liberal churches are going too far in this love is love and that we should love and embrace all people and tell them that their sin is ok instead of telling them they must repent and sin no more as the Master Saviour says we should do. Children are innocent and very easy to manipulate. Parents who let their young children believe they are something they really are not is very detrimental to the child’s health both physically and spiritually but even more damaging to the parent.

Those who understand the meaning of Proverbs 22:6 will tell you that we are not to teach children in sinful worldly ways but in the way of God but go against it because of societal pressure are basically condemning themselves as they are causing their children to sin. This is NOT OK. Look at what Jesus tells his Disciples according to the Gospel of Mathew.

“Yes! I tell you that unless you change and become like little children, you won’t even enter the Kingdom of Heaven! So the greatest in the Kingdom is whoever makes himself as humble as this child. Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me; and whoever ensnares one of these little ones who trust me, it would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and be drowned in the open sea! Woe to the world because of snares! For there must be snares, but woe to the person who sets the snare!” Matthew 18:3-7

Children are snared into sinfulness through the evil desires of man. Pedophilia is an ever growing problem, sex-ed is being taught at a younger age with homosexual influences, We have made evil good and good evil. We have allowed this sinfulness in the church by allowing open boastfulness of sin. When a person repents they are to follow the words of Jesus when He said, “Go, and sin no more” (John 8:11). He did not say I forgive you and you may continue in your sin and be saved if only you believe in me. That is the statement that is being taught in some churches today which is against God’s Word and will be punished by Him.

Yes we are to love our neighbor as ourselves but we should not let sin influence decisions, especially in the church. Having openly gay persons leading the church means that entire congregation accepts the sin and will allow the influence to take over their thinking on Scripture as the leader tries to validate the sin instead of repenting and changing.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. Romans 1:18-25

It was not too long ago that children who played with things that were meant for the opposite gender and it was called a phase. Now the second a child does this, some parents want to jump in and change their child’s gender. This has turned out very damaging for many who go through the reassignment leading some to commit suicide. We should not be playing God here. We are born a specific biological gender (gender is not a mental state) and that is who we are to stay. God does not make us LGBTQXYWhatever, but He does give us into our sins when the society is so corrupted and against Him. It happened in Sodom and Gomorrah, in Rome, and it happening now all over the world.

Society has refashioned the words and meaning of Proverbs 22:6 to suit their specific worldly desires. Instead of rearing a child in the ways of good moral and ethical behavior we have corrupted children who truly do not understand right from wrong.

How much longer are we going to let sinfulness influence our children. Gun violence is on the rise for people under 18, fantasy has overtaken reality, sexually immoral behavior is becoming less frowned upon and more accepted. We need to revive God in our lives so we can change these influences and teach right from wrong as we are supposed to.

How???

Get off your donkey and start in your neighborhood. Everybody does not have to start in the church but it helps if some do. Find out where the outside influences are and begin to make that change. Make a difference. Bring God back to the front with Jesus at His right hand. Share the Gospel as it says in Scripture before we completely do what Israel did that caused God to send Jesus to us. Stay faithful to the words and teachings from our youth and grow in the truth of Scripture. Love one another as He loves us even if it means we have to have tough love. Be blessed today and all days brothers and sisters.

Vanity In the Church

The Psalmist, the writer of Ecclesiastes, Jesus, and the Apostles tell us about the dangers of vanity. There are many who just do not seem to get how deep the sin of vanity goes nor how harmful it actually is. Vanity is not just looks, a problem of popularity, or an emotional response. The church is not immune to this as we see many leaders who have become vain which has led to greed and other detrimental activities within the community of believers called the Body of Christ.

A Pastor’s Vanity

Who in their right mind names a ministry after themselves???? Are they the ones being worshiped? The big name ministries that have a person’s name before the word ministry or church are vain individuals who obviously forget who they are to worship. This is especially bad for television ministries. Now don’t get me wrong, crusades are different because it is evident that they are not the ones being crusaded for or revived (ex. The Billy Graham Crusade for Christ). I am talking about people who have those exceedingly large churches who vainly and intentionally attach their name to the forefront of the religious service. The prosperity gospel teachers are the worst for doing that because it tells you who the majority of the raised funds are going to and it is not the mission of the church. We go to hear the Word not worship the person preaching it.

The ministry and all things that come into it and go out from it are for God’s glory alone. That is why you do not see a human face on our logo nor in any part of the main pictures. That is also why our name is as it is because the ministry is not ours but the direction and guidance needed to live a right life through Christ. No human name should be directly connected in a ministry name, which is disrespectful to God.

What’s in a Name

Jesus also tells us not to have titles. Matthew 23:8-12 states, “But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth ‘father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called ‘teacher,’ for you have one Teacher, the Christ. The greatest among you will be your servant. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”  The normal titles we see are pastor, bishop, apostle, reverend and we technically should not even use those especially apostle. The afore mentioned titles are tame compared to some I have seen like, most holy reverend, right reverend, doctor emeritus pastor, most high something or other, and the list gets crazier. The individuals who require to be called these outlandish and selfish titles are not sinless nor are they higher than anyone else. I know this sounds like I am disgruntled but I am not, just making a point.

Instead we should call each other some of the following to avoid the titles and focus on relationships: “brother,” “beloved,” “fellow-worker,” “laborer,” “slave,” “servant,” “prisoner,” “fellow-soldier,” and “steward.” Yes there were prophets, teachers, apostles, evangelists, leaders, elders, and deacons within the first churches, but these were not used as formal titles for individuals in the early church because they knew better. These common and functional terms speak volumes when we talk of each other.

It is better to call each other brother and or sister than anything else. If some do great things for the faith then use their first name and a descriptive word that emphasizes their deeds without showering them with accolades. Keeping things real and humble is much better than calling someone holy or most right when they are sinners just like everyone else. There is none more righteous or perfect than Jesus and He stayed humble to the end of the flesh.

Respect of Person Not Position

Persons in authority are to be respected but there are times when the title is the only reason some receive that respect. That is wrong. Now, Jesus does tell us to respect authority but He also warns us against abuses of that authority. If a person in authority does not show humility and respect why should it be given. Is that someone you would even follow? Our lives are all about relating to others. How we relate dictates emotional responses which controls our actions towards one another. Without personal respect there is no respect for the authority a person may hold.

Time For Change

The culture in America has many losing respect for authority and not from the actions of the person in authority. Rather, it is discovered that simple moral and ethical behaviors are ignored in the home. This must change. Parents who are more like friends to the young children or let them exhibit bad behaviors without consequence are actually ruining the children’s lives. Respect starts in the home with the instruction of good and godly manners (Proverbs 22:6). Are we so given into our sins by God that we cannot remember how that is taught? Have we become so vain that we give ourselves over to sin without a second thought? God has allowed us to be given into sin, and only God can save us from ourselves through Jesus. It is time to put the world away and get back to basics.

Brothers and Sisters we need to pray fervently that the world sees its mistakes and work on correction now. We have fallen short of our mission of the Great Commission. Get out there and be the disciples we are meant to be. Peace and Blessings to all.

Heartache: Blessed are Those Who Morn

O the blessedness of those who mourn, for they shall be comforted
Matthew 5:4

When someone leaves this world there is a period of mourning that occurs by those who are left to suffer. When we mourn we are actually mourning our condition which is still mortal while rejoicing that the one who past is (we hope) now in a better place. How can someone rejoice when in sorrow? There is a feeling of loss, a tender moment that cuts to the heart, but in that moment is also a sense of relief that the pain and suffering the person had while here, is gone.

So it is with sin. When we repent we are showing our sorrow that we have lived a life outside of the arms of God. The godly sorrow that results from the mourning of repentance is the step required to move towards eternal happiness. God grieves over this lost world so God comforts those who mourn in the separation so He may give them encouragement and strength to make it through this life.

The Psalmist says, “For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) How blessed are those who seek God in their pain. Those who recognize their sinful nature and repent are much better off than those who deny their sins and refuse the comfort that comes in repentance. They will not be comforted for those who deny that sin is wrong will taste death, which is permanent separation from God.

We are saved by grace through faith because we cannot save ourselves from the death that is the result of our sinful nature. We have the choice to be believe and be saved or not to believe and suffer for all eternity. To those who choose life, “Just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the man of heaven (1 Cor 15:49)”.

The site, hebrew4christians.com says this to speak the opposite of our verse this week: “O the misery of those who love this world, for they will receive no consolation in the world to come.” If you stay in the world you will be in and of the world and pass away, those who abide in the Word and the Will of God will live forever.

Keep His Word (Unless you deny everything Christ died for)

The world opened their heart to Dr. Charles Stanley and he has done so much in so many lives but he could not keep his son from denying the need for Scripture.  In a sermon from Andy Stanley, he denies the need for the Old Testament and says that the only thing we need to understand, know, and believe, is in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The way the sermon reads is that everything that Scripture (that is, Old Testament) says is unnecessary for our salvation. He is bluntly denying our Father. He even states that the Scripture is only meant for the Jews; wait what??? Jesus did not come to destroy the Law, He came to fulfill. This means that we are still bound. Jesus is the Word made flesh and He came and ministered first to the Jews to put them back on track. It was their understanding of the Scriptures that enabled them to understand the need for the death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus.

You cannot fully comprehend everything Jesus said and did without an understanding of the past events and circumstances that led up to His birth. That being said, one must have an understanding of the developments, the covenants made, the history, and the story of God as it is told in the Old Testament to fully comprehend the reason we believe. That is like saying that the great structures and artistic representations of the world are there and just taking by faith that they exist. Someone had to have the idea, the blueprint/sketch, the knowledge of what materials to use to create it and give it meaning.

To understand why Jesus did what He did we need to know the reason for it. The fact that forgiveness is found in the flowing of innocent blood dates back to the time of Adam. The mark of faith was sealed in the circumcision of Abraham. The Day of Atonement was established by God through Moses. The need of sustaining the Word is given through the commission of Joshua. Faith and trust in God was described and demonstrated in the victory over Goliath. The need for maintaining faith and trust in God is demonstrated in the description of what happened every time the Israelites did their own thing. The list goes on and on of why we need the Scripture to understand why Jesus came.

Now this is not the first time a popular pastor has denied some part of the belief system in favor of only one thing necessary for our salvation. In the past 200 years there have been more than I can count on my fingers and toes but guess what, the Word cannot be denied. They have died and most of their memories have faded but the Word has remained and its truth is unchanged. God is still God, David still killed Goliath, and Adam and Eve still made the choice that took down the path which we live today.

The Apostle Paul who persecuted Christians even noted the need for understanding Scripture to get the full grasp on why Jesus had to die. The explanation is simple: The flesh had to be destroyed so that the Word could live. The ascended person of Jesus showed the world the result of living with the Word ruling the heart, soul, and mind.

So, all this to say that we need the whole Word not just the resurrection occurrence to truly be saved. Yes we need to follow the example of Jesus but to follow His example we have to know what He is demonstrating. We are saved by Grace because we cannot be perfect followers, it is against human nature but we must persevere and give our best to follow God’s Word in our lives daily. Trusting in His mercy that we may become faithful followers through suffering and a fearful respect of the One who gave us life.  God grants us the provisions to be strong and courageous when standing in this world but under the condition of keeping His Word on our heart.

“Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law that Moses my servant commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”  Joshua 1:7-9

Jesus emphasized the need for this, all the Apostles reiterated it, some modern pastors deny it. Who will you believe????

Are You Rich in Self Gained Wealth or Through God’s Favor

In my effort to understand Ecclesiastes more I realize how deep the writer goes into all things of the world being worthless when we enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The second part of the fifth chapter has the writer discussing earthly riches:

If you see the poor oppressed, rights violated and justice perverted in the province, don’t be surprised; for a high official has one higher watching him, and there are others above them. But the greatest advantage to the country is when the king makes himself a servant to the land.

The lover of money never has enough money;
the lover of luxury never has enough income.

This too is pointless.

When the quantity of goods increases, so does the number of parasites consuming them;
so the only advantage to the owner is that he gets to watch them do it.

The sleep of a working man is sweet, whether he eats little or much;
but the overfullness of the rich won’t let them sleep at all.

Here is a gross evil which I have seen under the sun: the owner of wealth hoards it to his own hurt.

Due to some misfortune, the wealth turns to loss;
and then if he has fathered a son, he has nothing to leave him.

Just as he came from his mother’s womb, so he will go back naked as he came,
and for his efforts he will take nothing that he can carry away in his hand.

This too is a gross evil, that in every respect as he came, so will he go; thus what profit does he have after toiling to earn the wind? All his life he eats in darkness, in frustration, in sickness and in anger.

This is what I have seen to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, drink and enjoy the good that results from all his work that he engages in under the sun for all the days of his life that God has given him, for this is his allotted portion. Also, everyone to whom God has given riches and wealth, along with the power to enjoy it, so that he takes his allotted portion and finds pleasure in his work — this is a gift of God; for he will not brood over the fact that his life is short, since God keeps him occupied with what will bring him joy. Ecclesiastes 5: 7-19 (CJB & OJB) (8-20 all others)

I know this will not shock you but we are in a world where this is happening daily. Even more so in our current situation where the super-rich are influencing the world. The writer is letting us know that the love of money will lead to pain and suffering, but riches gifted through labor and trusting in God through the ability to balance all things in this world and the spirit will bring joy. Those who understand that God provides the health and welfare to be able to work, gain, and give, will live a long, satisfying life. Those who toil without seeing God’s handiwork will be left with nothing. If that individual made time to have a family, they will also be left with nothing.

Ok, I know that there are some very wealthy families in the world and some of those families use their money to influence decisions (yes it happens). I believe the writer would call the Rothschild’s, Bilderberg’s, Soros’ and other’s lives, meaningless. They will leave this world in complete turmoil if they are allowed to continue.

I know this is cliché but you seriously cannot take earthly riches into the next world no matter how hard you try. Things of this world do not exist in the next. There are many who are living comfortably without a care in the world because technology is doing the work for them. How dreadful their life will be when this all comes tumbling to a halt and those that labored for God while suffering ridicule and persecution will be the ones living in the comfortable arms of our Savior.

The point of all this? Live and work for the Glory of God not self-indulgence. It does not matter how much you make, what big person toys you have, nor how big your house is. Those things will pass away. What stays is the impact you have on those you blessed with your last penny, you extra clothes, gave shelter to, talked to about Jesus and His impact on your life.

Our bodies decay, material things rot. God’s Love and His Word are eternal. Which would you rather be a part of?

Broken by flesh, Blessed by God

The Beatitudes are a blessing to those who fully understand what Jesus said. When we look at the original text and the translation there is a new and deeper understanding of how we are to live so we can inherit the Kingdom.
O the blessedness of the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven Matthew 5:3
We Are Broken
Are you poor in Spirit? Having awareness that you cannot do things on your own and need help from God then you are. When we empty ourselves of worldly desires we can seek God in humility. You see, when we place our full dependence on God we realize that we are inefficient and powerless without Him. When we are weak, we are strong. In Jesus we are made whole because when we accept Him as Lord and Savior, we give everything over to Him and loose ourselves of our earthly desires, God fills that void with the richness of the Spirit through a fuller knowledge and understanding of His Word. We turn our desires to Him alone through worship and praise.
Exalted or Humble
To truly understand the Word we must go to the Father in heartfelt humility. We enter into His life through the reading and Keeping of the Scripture. It is not easy when we are in and of the world where so many wish to be exalted. Fame and popularity now means nothing in the Kingdom of Heaven. We should do things for others without the need for accolades. The humble in spirit will be exalted in Heaven and the proud will be humbled.
What Can We Do?
Who do you live for, yourself or God? The opposite of what Jesus said can be true of the selfish on this earth; O the misery of the proud in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Self (Hebrew4Christians). Keep ourselves from being prideful in the things we do in this world and focus on the Father. Our accolade will come when we enter the Kingdom and He tells us “Well done, good and faithful servant”.

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother's Day

There is something special and unique about women. They are designed by God to carry and give birth to the next generation. They have a way of dealing with pain that men can truly never fathom because the pain is more than just the physical pain that happens during child birth. They deal with the emotional pain when the child falls, she is the comforter, separation anxiety of the first day of school, the joy and pain of watching their baby grow up to be the spouse of another woman’s child. They know when something is wrong with the children even as they grow older from miles if not hundreds of miles away. They laugh, cry, they smile even when hurting inside.

A mother’s love is never ending. Even if the child wanders away the memory of the mother’s love never leaves.

Women who foster or adopt are truly special because they take on the responsibility of motherhood through love and compassion for others. Though they do not have the initial special bond, their love knows no bounds. A mother is a gift from God.

Happy Mother’s Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are You Tending the Garden For You or God

ADVENTURES IN THE PARABLES wicked tenantsJesus was preparing the world for the next life through parables. His stories came directly from God since He is the Word of God. He continually spoke of life in the Kingdom verses living in darkness.

And he began to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard and let it out to tenants and went into another country for a long while. When the time came, he sent a servant to the tenants, so that they would give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the tenants beat him and sent him away empty-handed. And he sent another servant. But they also beat and treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty-handed. And he sent yet a third. This one also they wounded and cast out. Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will respect him.’ But when the tenants saw him, they said to themselves, ‘This is the heir. Let us kill him, so that the inheritance may be ours.’ And they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then will the owner of the vineyard do to them? He will come and destroy those tenants and give the vineyard to others.” When they heard this, they said, “Surely not!” But he looked directly at them and said, “What then is this that is written:
“‘The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone’?
Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces, and when it falls on anyone, it will crush him.” Luke 20:9-17

Not What Some May Think

The person that is trying to accomplish replacement theology will tell you that the tenants were the whole people Israel, it is not. Yes it explains their disobedience but it is specifically directed to those in religious leadership positions in the Sanhedrin.

The landowner is God and the vineyard is Israel. As I mentioned, the tenants are the religious leaders who are responsible for speaking the truths of God’s Word of which they perverted and polluted with laws of man. This poisoned Israel and caused many to perish without the full truth or a proper repentance.
So the landowner sends servants. These servants are the prophets. These were the obedient ones who were chosen to turn Israel back to God but were killed for speaking out against the status quo set up by man. The people were still not returning properly to God and though they thought they were conducting proper worship, they were not.
God, not happy with His chosen people and those appointed from the tribe of Levi takes the most loving of actions. He sends Jesus, the Word made flesh and the established religious rulers have Him killed.

Now The Rest of the Story

The religious leaders have been condemned through their actions. Some of God’s Chosen People have accepted Christ as the Son of God and continued the original mission set forth by the Father. The Twelve Apostles were sent out to the world (the new other tenants) to bring the rest of the Israelites and the world back to God. Yes our mission was initially to assist in bringing the Israelites back to God then to hand the main priestly job back to them. Jesus said to make disciples of all men, not leave out His Chosen People.
Now what about those religious leaders?
They were jealous. They were envious of Jesus’ popularity and an encroachment on their authority. Their pride was hurt and they were embarrassed. It actually caused them to fall right into God’s plan. The priests feared an uprising that would displace them and ruin the good relationship with the Roman authorities who controlled the land. The big problem is that they were consumed by fear of losing the joy they had from the earthly riches and did not want to ruin their chances of greater wealth and prestige.

We Have Failed

There are two types of religious leaders in the world, those who stay in the truth of the Word and those have denied the teachings of Christ to make everyone feel good about their life. Many who started out in the Word became consumed by fame and fortune. The Word has been changed to fit society because the ways of man have returned to the likes of Sodom and Gomorrah. The message is now a feel good about your own life rather than obedience and respect for others.

Thankfully the truth is still out there and there are those who make an impact. True Believers have begun to resurface fighting for the right truth of the Word and we are slowly getting back to the right way of living. Satan’s power is weakening but he is still holding on.

So Who Are You?

The Father sent His Son to redress the vines so the branches can grow and produce new fruit. Those who became too engrossed by power perverted the Word, poisoning the branches which produced a fruit that would never ripen.

Are you like one of the wicked tenants who wish to gain things for your own personal desires while telling God that He is no longer fully relevant? Or are you a new tenant who works the land for the owner and produces fruit by doing your very best to follow His Word and Plan for us.

Beloved Brother and Sisters we must continue to fight for the truth of the Word and reopen hearts to let Jesus back in. We need to replace the false man-made teachings of this age with the truth. Are you ready to suffer for righteousness? Time is running out on all sides and we cannot let the devil win. Keep the truth of the Word on your heart and share it daily. Love others with the grace and mercy that the Father has for us.

Blessings,
Rob
