When we fear something in this world we need to remember one thing: God can set us free.
Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? The Lord is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me. Psalm 118:5-7
When we feel distressed about what happened during the day it does not matter. Call on the Lord in prayer and be free. The actions of this world are only temporary but sometimes necessary to learn something but God asks us to talk to Him, give Him your troubles for He will set you free. God tells us numerous times that He will not forsake us nor will He ever leave us as long as we are obedient. He will set us free. His Word came to us as a humble babe. He was brought up in a humble carpenter’s home always surrounded by faithful people. He brought the Word back to the world to set us free and He was rejected. He performed miracles that only God could do and people denied Him. He took a beating and was strung and nailed to a tree and people still mocked Him. He bled out every drop and died and all but a few ignored Him. No one has greater love than a person who lays down his life for his friends (John 15:13). He tore the veil in the temple with a thunderous earthquake then rose three days later and people saw Him. He stayed for forty days and people adored Him. He went away but left us a Helper. Jesus set us free.
Every man woman and child that has bled for your countries died so that tyranny would be defeated. Though some still live in tyranny, that is only a temporary thing because Jesus has freed us from eternal death. We can look at the world in wonder of the creation and know that the beauty that is here is only a small bit of what God can do. Take great care today and all days treating each other with the Love and Compassion that God has shown us. Be safe and be blessed.
Rob, Servant of God.
